Darrell's Doctrinal Position

The Bible is God's complete written revelation to us. Through the process and means of inspiring chosen men the original documents were perfect in every regard. Through ensuing history no other book has been so maligned, disrespected, hated, attacked, loved and treasured. God has miraculously preserved his Word for us in the various translations; historical and modern. These translations, while not inspired, are trustworthy and as history, archaeology, and the language sciences understand and apply new discoveries, the few translational and copyist errors and misunderstandings that are corrected, confirm that God has given, preserved and provided for us his Word.

There are bad and errant translations. Our surest defense against error is not tradition, antiquity, acceptance or endorsement of men but diligent, personal study of the entirety of God's Word.
